FAQ

DO YOU PARTICIPATE IN MY INSURANCE PLAN & WHAT IS MY COVERAGE and COST?

We participate in MOST health plans (Please see our Insurance Section for specific insurances). Many insurance plans offer serveral choices and levels of care that you or your employer may choose. Please consult your insurance booklet or your coverage.  We will, at a courtesy to you, look up your coverage for the first visit. We also offer very affordable non-insurance payment plans and options.

HOW LONG WILL MY APPOINTMENT LAST IN YOUR OFFICE?

New Patient appointments: 45 minutes to 1 hour with evaluation and treatment.
Subsequent visits: 15-30 minutes depending on what treatment is performed.

Since we usually spend more time with our patients performing manual muscle techniques than most other offices you can expect your visit to be slightly longer. However, if you have time constraints please let us know and we can adjust your treatment accordingly.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL TREATMENT CONSIST OF IN YOUR OFFICE?

Since our treatment is not a cookie-cutter for everyone it may differ completely. Generally a visit will consist of:

    • 15 minutes of modalities (Electric Stim, laser, Cryo Cuff, Ultra Sound, Heat/Cold, Traction, Roller Table to the affected region as needed earlier in treatment.  Manual Therapy such as Kinetic Release, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Passive Stretching, Flexion-Distraction Technique, Massage and/or Rehabilitation Exercises.
    • Chiropractic Adjustment (This may involved “non-cracking” adjusting known as Gentile Manipulation to Traditional Manipulation “Cracking”), Mobilizaton, Impulse Technique (Gentile), Kinesio- Taping, or other forms of corrective therapy.

HOW MUCH DOES A VISIT COST AND HOW OFTEN DO I NEED SEEN?

Chiropractic, Physical Medicine, Physical Therapy/ Rehabilitation, and other service are often covered as a benefit through your insurance plan.  As mentioned before- many options exist for patient plans as well as Employer sponsored plans so the amount is dependent on your specific policy co-pays, co-insurances, deductibles, and coverage limits.  Please consult your insurance booklet provided to you.

We at Treichler Sports & Family Chiropractic believe in treating each person as an INDIVIDUAL.  Therefore, there is no set in stone treatment number or times per week.  Our staff will evaluate you taking into account EACH health issue/ injury you have and complete a treatment plan specifically for your condition and based on experience, healthcare averages of treatment lengths, and your progression will adjust accordingly.  Your plan is dependent on many factors such as age, severity, compliance, state of health, health history and if your looking for just symptom relief or complete care of your problem.
