FAQ

DO YOU PARTICIPATE IN MY INSURANCE PLAN & WHAT IS MY COVERAGE and COST?

We participate in MOST health plans. Many insurance plans offer several choices and levels of care that you or your employer may choose. Please consult your insurance booklet or call the customer service number listed on the back of your insurance card for your specific coverage.  We will, at a courtesy to you, look up your coverage for the first visit. We also offer very affordable non-insurance payment plans and options for those who do not have insurance or wish to receive maintenance care.

HOW LONG WILL MY APPOINTMENT LAST IN YOUR OFFICE?

New Patient appointments: Approximately 1 hour with evaluation and treatment. Please arrive 20 minutes early to complete new patient paperwork or click here to print off our new patient paperwork.

Subsequent visits: Chiropractic appointments are approximately 15-30 minutes depending on what treatment is performed. Physical Therapy are approximately 1 hour.

Since we usually spend more time with our patients performing manual muscle techniques than most other offices you can expect your visit to be slightly longer. However, if you have time constraints please let us know and we can adjust your treatment accordingly.

Massage appointments: Vary from 15 minute chair massages up to 1.5 hours.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL TREATMENT CONSIST OF IN YOUR OFFICE?

Since our treatment is NOT A COOKIE- CUTTER approach for everyone it may differ completely. Generally a visit will consist of:

    • Modalities: Electrical Stimulation, Cold-laser, Cryo Compression Cuff, UltraSound, Heat/Cold Packs, or Mechanical Traction to the affected region as needed earlier in treatment.
    • Massage/ Manual Therapy: Graston Technique, ART, Myofascial release, Trigger point Therapy, Passive Stretching and/or Massage.
    • Physical Therapy: Exercise for specific correction of your injury to restore proper movement patterns so you can, “Move Better- Move More!” TM
    • Chiropractic Adjustment: We use BOTH Gentle Manipulation, which is lower force and no “twisting” to Traditional Chiropractic Manipulation “Cracking” which depends on the patient and doctors  goals of care, Mobilization, Flexion Distraction, Impulse Technique (Gentle), Kinesio- Taping, or other forms of corrective therapy.

HOW MUCH DOES A VISIT COST AND HOW OFTEN DO I NEED SEEN?

Chiropractic, Physical Medicine, Physical Therapy/ Rehabilitation, and other services are often covered as a benefit through your insurance plan.  As mentioned before- many options exist for patient plans as well as Employer sponsored plans, so the amount is dependent on your specific policy co-pays, co-insurances, deductibles, and coverage limits.  Please consult your insurance booklet provided to you or call the customer service number listed on the back of your insurance card.

We at Treichler Sports & Family Chiropractic Physical Therapy believe in treating each person as an INDIVIDUAL.  Therefore, there is no set frequency.  Our staff will evaluate you, taking into account EACH health issue/ injury you have. We will complete a treatment plan specifically for your condition and based on experience, healthcare averages of treatment lengths, your progression and adjust the plan accordingly.  Your plan is dependent on many factors such as age, severity, compliance, state of health, health history and if you’re looking for just symptom relief vs abolition of your concern.
